4. The Silent Cartographer
Storm the beaches and find the map room
Mission Flow
- Land on the beach and clear the LZ
- Circle the island to the map facility - the main door is locked
- Assault the security facility to unlock it
- Descend to the Cartographer and learn the Control Room's location
- Fight back to the beach for extraction

After beating the first Hunter pair by the Forerunner structure, climb to the top of that structure.

After the Jackal wave and two Hunters, look down while descending the open Forerunner stairwell - the skull sits on a ledge platform below.

Legendary Tips
- A single pistol round to a Hunter's exposed orange back is still a kill (community).
- Watch the cloaked-Elite ambush at the security facility door - it's the mission's main killer (community).
- The Warthog works almost everywhere on the island - splatter what you can.
